Default Truggy question- Lightning

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'm thinking about buying a truggy - Hot Bodies 1/8 Lightning RR. I'm wondering if this is a good truck for the money and how it compares to others. Thanks.

The LSP is a very solid truck. I would buy the Pro version. it's running right now for $499 from www.amainhobbies.com.
Harndened diffs, better shocks, aluminum knuckles, aluminum arms, although I run plastic. For the price it sgood. If it's just for fun and local buy it.

If you are gonna race at a high level, buy the Jammin Truggy. I race a LSP and have not been disspapointed, but the Jammin is a true race machine right out of the box with no mods. I have added King Headz, Kyosho, and OFna parts to give it some added strength and performance.

Right now, I'm trying to stay under 400 - that's why I'm looking at the non-pro version. If I'm going to spend 500 would the Mayhem be a better choice?

Ok. Buy the regular version. you'll like it. The Mayhem is very small and short.
