ALMOST HAD A RUNAWAY!

Hey guys this is a very creepy story makes me cry lol
any ways i got my m11/spektrum and i tried to set fail safe did it the instructions said exaclty
i put on full brake and straight steering. so i think its good and i take the new .26 mayhem out (got my new motor for free btw!) and did a few tanks and my m11 lost connection. so all of a sudden after it lost connection it hits full throttle and steers to the right! luckily it didnt do straight or it would end up in a bush! so after it turns on wot it flips and revs for a while no load!
it wasnt good. nothing broke i toasted a glowplug tho
also another lucky thing is i was nearby and i darted to the car and slamed my hand over the stinger and it shut off. good thing its ok im so glad! can you tell me how to set the failsafes? i cant get it to work. thanks btw i did it to the best of the instructions and tried it many times! im so glad my buggy is back its faster than my jato! i want to put a os 18 in the jato wich one works? the cvrx is cheap but u have to get a pipe and stuff

If you have an integrated fail safe there's no need to buy another, just repeat the procedure and try it with the engine off before huh 
if it doesn't work get your system replaced.
