Default How is this?

I dont know too much about buggies, I have a nitro touring car and Im looking to buy a 1/8 buggy just to have some fun with, I'll be using it in the grass, some sand and maybe a little mud and doing jumps

I found a OFNA Ultra Comp buggy rtr for $250

I also found a Inferno Sports MP-7.5 for $230

which is more powerful

depends on the engine you get with it... both are on par id say as far as durability goes..

I have had experience with both, and the Ofna is far more durable than the Inferno.

I have an Ofna LX with a .26 Force
The motors just right for some fun and easy to tune and work on.
The only thing I would want extra would probably be a 2 speed.
I've also had some pretty bad crashes with it considering it's my first r/c car ever and nothing has broken and its tough as a rock.
I recommend it.

Inline I think you got pretty lucky with that engine. All of the force .26s that I've dealt with at the hobby shop I worked in were terrible. Wouldn't hold a tune for anything, ran very hot, and blew glow plugs constantly. Not only from my experience but everyone else I know of has had the same problems. There was only one exception and I think the only thing that let it run correctly was running in cool weather.

The ofna comp is a good buggy but I don't trust the motor that comes in it. Also your going to need atleast a new steering servo (i don't know how the electionics are in the 7.5).

A good alternative to the Comp is the Ofna Ravager. It has the .28 engine which is a good engine.
