Okay all,
Sorry to bug you on yet another inferno 7.5 mod...so here it goes,
I bought a hump battery Pack to replace the dubious AA batteries but, I am unsure how
I am going to place it. To just for Clarifications sake...The AA Batteries sit in a pack which
gets dropped into a large black Thick Plastic container. ...Anyone who owns a inferno will
know what I am talking. Okay Gents and Ladies ..Please help me out.

winged we got to sit down and go over some one on one nitro couse hump pack installation is one of the easiest things to do besides changing the tire maybe ,but dont worry we all kind of started blind in this but most of us atleast had a manual with our first nitro rc and you bought yours used without a manual and jumped into nitro like it was a regular car turn the key and go ,but it isnt so in nitro little more patiance and learning is required and will take some time ,but trust me i know how much you are enjoying it so far just do a little more reading about it and you should be fine and dont forget to start a rc account couse it gets adictive very quickly most imprtant is that you are doing what you like so enjoy

Hey MGTMan,
Thanks!! I think that I made this Thread to easy. My problem lies in the fact that the Kyosho and the hump have
to different connectors. So what do I do ???

either shave the connector down with a pen knife, or if that won't work, buy a switch that will fit with the new connector, or third option, cut the lead off the old pack & solder it onto the new pack & use heat shrink to cover over the soulder points on the wires to stop shorts.

ye you will eighter need a new switch or an adoptor to plug the hump pack to reciever ,getting the switch will eliminate the need to constantly remove the hump pack to charge it since it has the extra lead it has 3 one goes to the reciever ,one for the hump pack and the other is used to charge your hump without rmoving it from the holder ,some people prefer to just plug in the hump directly to the reciever since sometimes during crashes the switch turns of and you get a run away ,but if its not to much of a hassle for you i would just get the adoptor for it and unplug it from the recievr after each use and charge it that way will eliminate the thought of your switch failing or turning off during a crash ,ps and you thought it was easy to own one of these toys ha lol

ye i understand i had a blast when i sterted and still do but spent a good 30000-40000 gs on this hobby in the past couple years only lol but still drive my old pos honda lol anyway looks like you are going full force into this hobby enjoy it is a blast and keeps me atleast from trouble, we wiill get plenty practice time when the wheather changes dont worry ,personally i still sometimes go into the garage and atleast fire it up but learned my lessons in the past couple e years to be patient and not use my toys during the winter which is very ruff on your vehicles so i usually hibernate the nitros and run one off my electrics or my quad ,anyway enjoy and dont sniff the nitro to much lol
