Default Which engine?

Im looking for a engine for my Hyper 7 PCR, i want somthing with more power then a begginer engine like a RG, but i dont want to get a pure-bred race engine like a P5. I cant really find anything that fits in that category, and also it has to be a .21 engine.

STS Racing .21. Its far better that a OG and can stand up to a P5 or WS7II if modded. Check the link in my sig.

Sorry to those who read me typing this over and over, but here goes:

Sportwerks .26 is what you want, $(130.00, 145.00 with pullstart eliminating backplate from www.horizonhobby.com). It has almost the power of a purebred race engine, at almost the price of the cheap and reliable OS RG. You could get that engine, and a Jammin JP-2 pipe for under $200.00 if you shop around.

Rockstar power, dirt cheap price, sounds too good to be true right? Well, in this case, you don't get what you pay for, you get more than you paid for.

My RG 21+JP-2 stright up woops the RTR mayhems with the sportwerks 26. I do have the sportwerks .26 in my LST and it kicks ass but I don't think it belongs in a buggy.

You must have a better RG than mine. My buddy's Mayhem (were it not for his crappy driving skills) can outright destroy my buggy (which has an RG and a JP-2). Not only can he pull on me from mid to top, but he can do it while running 40 degrees cooler, and with a carb limiter in place.

The N21BF is an awesome motor for the money. Get either the Jp2 or the Mugen 1005 pipe for it. It has a ton of low end power and with these pipes it will help the top end. It also does take this motor a long time to break in, 1 gallon +. But is known to be a very long lasting motor.

Either that or the Collari B3 paired with a Jp2. They used to have a problem with the carbs, but a running change in production has fixed it.

Either motor would be a good choice. Both would cost about $250 with the Jp2 pipe.

Is it true that Collari has a durability problem? I heard you need two or three to race a single season competively, because of the piston and sleeve wear.

Not that I am aware of. The Collari motors are excellent motors backed up by great customer service.
