i'd hate to be running prototypes... breakage when you need the buggy to perform at best.

I think there are always ways to improve on a basic design without reinventing the wheel. The speed of these cars are already there. You bolt a Novarossi P5x or a 21-5 into any buggy its going to fly....straight..... But what about ...handling? This is the area that all the manufactures are having to focus on. One of the guys had mentioned his car does not have good on power handling. But his friends car does... Lap times will go way down as corner speed goes up. Question is..How does one make a bug handle better than another?

Its a complicated problem to solve. All 1/8 scale all wheel drive off road cars will have on power understeer or push. My Mugen is much better in the corner than my Mayhem. Why? Lots and lots of reasons. I believe center of gravity is very important as well as overall suspension movement. If one could lower a cars center, and widen the wheelbase to a degree, the corner speed should come up. Interesting....very interesting topic.

Lets design our own!

Not many drivers do that. 1 or 2 on the team do at a time. And if you are going to post something... try not to criticize anything? I know its a stretch for you to do something that simple. I'd appreciate it and so would others.

Sponsored*** its spelled like that.

i want to see some innovation, i know there may be some small changes here and there but just seems like every new buggy is just a photo copy of an existing buggy...getting a bit boring, hopefully losi's buggy will bring something new to the table.
I wish everone would stop on the buggy and truggy craze and manufacture some better race ST's. The sport of racing 1/10 is more difficult and challenging, due to not having the "point and shoot" feature the 4wd's give to the racers. They just look better to dangget, innovate more on the Electric 1/10 too.
yeah 1/8 buggy too easy. i agree. and how many race wins have you had

a subaru wrx is easy to drive, doesnt mean you can go out and win the WRC.

why is it that the top guys at my track does 38seconds and the middle of the field does 40seconds and then the slow guys do 42seconds+ ???

if its so easy, everyone should be within 1 second of each other.

another stupid comment from annie_himself.

also what is your name? or are you going to stay an annonymous "sponserd" racer promoting a company?
Why agree with me then insult me? Then disagree with the same comment you agreed on? I haven't sent in my pic and boi yet, have a problem? Don't bring up stuff that dosen't pertain to the subject in a thread. Ok, 1/8 buggy can still be hard to a beginner but Im just saying the buggy craze is extremely large and there are so many good manufacturers that make worthy buggies. The racers want a innovative buggy every season, and they will run out of things in a couple years, unless they use useless stuff in them. The ST trucks haven't been innovated in a while and I just think they should be. I have lots of ideas and subjects to speak on, this is one. I guess I have to be the big man here and not insult users for ideas and speaking their minds on a forum, a place to discuss topics, and apologize for the confusion, and Im 14.
The O' Donnel buggy looks nice and most likely performs well. They just need to sponsor a driver that is well know and is a free agent at the time. It may not be easy but a driver will sign to almost any company to be able to race and especially with a new company to see the quality of their products. Look at XRay.

have you heard of sarcasm

sounds like you dont know about sarcsm, so i better say this in plain english ... NO I DONT THINK IT IS EASY TO DRIVE FAST. yes anyone can drive a bugyy. heck anyone can drive a real car, but does that make everyone a race car driver?

also you still havent give us your real name and what races you have one
Spell "one" like this: won. Anyway Im Antrell, why does it matter. I haven't even been to a race yet, rather than a couple off-road electric at a old track I walked to every weekend. Why are you interested?

"Won". yes i must be still asleep from late race meet last nite.

so you never raced a nitro buggy before, and recommend sts/dadders engines and say they are faster then JP's? LMFAO!! well there you go RockyRevo. that explains a lot doesn't it
lol, srry i just had 2 keep the long quoting thingy going, lol
