I have run Blue Thunder, O'Donnell, and Byrons. I had the best luck in my OS RG w/JP-2 pipe running Byrons Race 3000 (3000 means 30% nitro). It ran the most consistently, and seemed to provide the best power. O'Donnell was a distant second, and Blue Thunder was even worse than that.

I use purple monster 20%. i'm not good enough at racing to use 30%
It always works well and holds a tune. I also have used WildCat on occasion, and when I run boats I use wildcat and it works fine.

I used to run Wild Cat, then Byron's then Blue Thunder. After abit I had my eyes opened to Sidewinder which was MUCH better. Less crap on the engine after a few gallons and more consitant. Now I run O'Donnell. By far the best fuel I've run. After 2.5 gallons my engine still looked brand new inside. Very consistant fuel gallon to gallon. Very good idle as well. At the track they were asked to carry Byron's (by the distributor) they tested it out and said that they will not carry it. Horrible idle and not as much power in the engines.
Get some quality fuel. O'Donnell is #1 that I've run, next down the line would be Sidewinder. I've heard less than good stuff about Maxi's but I've never tried it so I can't say for sure...

I ran odonnell fuel some years ago and it was clear and I noticed it turned my clear fuel pressure line a dark brown color which I didn't like at all. Anyway, is odonnell still clear these days?

i mix my own, 25% nitro 10% synthetic & 4% castor. runs really well in my P5 with OS T 2050 pipe. i messed with a lot of different mixes before i settled on this one.

I have ran Wildcat, White Lightning, Odonnell, Trinity Platnium and Byron's. I am a die hard Byron's fan for me it runs cooler and better performance. Just my .02

well i live in iowa and byrons is made in iowa so that makes it the most popular fuel around here and has been my favorite for a long time. sidewinder and trinity are also great fuels as well. odonnell just doesnt do it for me and i hate how it did colores the fuel lines and how it gooes out the pipe when done runnin. they say that is the oil lube engine protecter package. i call it SLUGE.

RE: FUEL!!!!! Discuss types of fuel that are good race fuels.
you just need to know exactly how the fuel you run is blended/mixed
in the Uk fuels are mixed by volume & if you buy 25% fuel you are getting 25% nitro in your fuel
in the US most fuels are mixed by weight instead of volume & as Nitro is heavier than Methanol the 30% added is only equal to about 22% by volume!
that 30% byron doesn't sound so good now does it LOL
the fueli run has 25% Nitro & about 8% oil
the use of a quality oil ensures good lubrication/engine life & plenty of consistant power

I'm running Odonnells 30.
My Buddy Brody is running Byrons 30 in his Jammin and loves it. My Pro drive Bro Alan is running Byrons as well. They are sponsering Alan so.....
I was running Trinity Monster in my Mayhem. I don't like the purple color. Go figure.

I used Sig Intimidator for along time , now it`s Byrons 3000 , no problems with either , I think Byron`s runs a little cooler .
