Whats the best/easiest/less "pissed off" way to rewind your pull starter
-no one can sell me the pull starter because its made by smartech. im forced to fix it myself.
-i know its the hardest thing in the world to do, but if you know, what is the easiest way? winding it up first, then putting in? winding it up while is already in?
help!!!

rewindine pullstarts is a pain in the a** however the best way i'v found to do it is to take ur thumb and your pointer finger and pich the center of the coil. Then carefully wrap the rest around the pivot point you have created. then VERY CARFULLY slide the bend end of the coil into the slot on the pullstart.

i do it all the time you just have to wind spring w/ thumb and index then insert bent end in is littel holder . I usuall wind it tigher than needed so it can sit with some gap so u can clamp it with needle nose and put it in then i pull the middle out enough wher i can slide it onto the disk the string sits on then push it in while turning the disk to wind the spring up as u wind it the spring will fall all the way into place. it takes patience but it does work. im trying my best to explain but post if u have any q's
