Hey guys,
Since I got into RC a couple of months ago, the one thing that has really hit me is the cost of tires and wheels. It really freaked me out when I had to replace my first set of Holeshots on my RC10T4. Now that I'm into 1/8 buggies, it has gotten worse, since you really skin all four tires. From what I've seen, it can cost you $60 or more to replace a set of "good" tires, and it's amazing how quickly you can wear those tires out when bashing on combinations of grass to asphalt to concrete.
Anyway, I've been searching for inexpensive tires and wheels to make playing around less painful in the wallet.
Check these out...

I got a couple of sets of the Supra Sales tires/wheels and they look OK, although I haven't run them yet. They are on the hard side and I don't know that I'd race 'em, but for bashing, they should be fine.
Does anyone else have any good sources?

i bought a set of tires and rims that were only ran once, off ebay for $25. You can find them a lot cheaper on ebay and pretty much brand new. I was very pleased when I got them they came in great condition, already glued and ready to go.

Go to your local track and see if ou can buy the tires sets that the racers are throwing out. I reuse my rims, but many racers I race with dont and they are always giving there stuff away.

Yeah, the badlands are what I'm looking at, although the tire/wheel combo that I got on ebay are working out nicely for bashing. At $21 for a set of four, I'm really not worried about them.

Good choice I forgot about them. They are similar to Crimefighter but with a much harder compund. Should be great for bashing.
