Well I am pretty new to Nitro just getting into it last year. So this spring getting ready for new season I looked into getting a new mill. I have the Mayhem RTR version (hey I had to start some were). I like my buggy and if I had the money I would probably get allot better buggy but I don't so I just stick to upgrading this one. So anyway I put in an OS RG .21 with a JP-1 pipe. There were a few people giving me crap about going with the OS RG instead of just putting in another SW .26. They were like man why go to a motor and loose all that power of the .26. After getting this RG broke in and Tuned I really don't see that I lost much if any power. Also could be the fact that since I really didn't know what I was doing I may have weaked the .26 I had not really sure the .26 still runs good but I do know that I did have a time that I did get that bad boy up to about 300 degrees and that is not GOOD.
I will say this much the book was right that RG is really tight at TDC when it is new. My Chrome top Bump box even with the Heavy Duty 12V motor had a couple of times that it could not start it as the piston stopped at TDC So i had to manually get it past TDC and back to the bottom so it could get a run at it to start the motor a couple of times.
And one of the other reasons I went with the RG .21 was some of the tracks wont allow the bigger motors for racing with them. And since our Club is going to try and do some touring of other tracks this year I would like to be able to run with them and not just have to watch from the sideline.

I know everyone always tells me how I should have gotten a SW RTR .26 motor rather than my RG. Honestly running against other buggies with them they seem to have very similar power. I'd even say I think the OFNA Force .28 is faster than the SW .26 but whatever. To each his own. I love my RG.
