hi
when I got my hyper 7 it ran fine however from sugestion of another I used 5% instead for one litre. he also changed the settings. I have been to sites that show the factory settings but the engine still doesnt run ok, does anyone have the exact factory settings for the idle screw, master needle and barrel stop/idle screw for hyper 21. Please put measurements in how many turnes from being completely wound in point.
thanks

Engines aren't all the same.
And also ambient temps and nitro used and plug used,and..., and... have different effect on each engine.
What you HAVE to do since i suppose you know nothing about tuning nitro engines,DO a search on the internet on "how to tune nitro engines" OR "tuning nitro engines".There are some great articles on this.
Also do a search here on this forum and you will find great info on it too.
If you have time to play with your car you NEED to have time to learn more about it.

Main Needle Valve (High Speed) = 3 full turns open from fully closed
Supply Fuel Nozzle (brass srew + brass case) = flush with brass case
Throttle Adjustment Screw (Idle) = Approx 1mm asperture
Sub Throttle Needle Valve (Low Speed) = 3.5 turns open from fully closed

The best thing that you can do for that Hyper 21 8 port is to put an O.S. RG carb on it. All of your tuning troubles will likely be solved.

hi the low speed needle is too rich, 1/8th of a turn at a time until you get a good take off, but make sure you still have some smoke.
