Default Adjusting inline pipe length

Hi all. I have an RB 9863 inline pipe with an 11P(i think) header. On my hyper 7 with hyper 21 race motor it is about 1/2 inch shorter overall than the stock pipe. I want more bottom end out of it this pipe/header combo has made it go better but pretty much evenly throughout the rev range so I think an extra half inch will do good things for the bottom end. My question, is there a way to lengthen the inline setup without buying a longer header while still maintaining good exhaust flow? I'm thinking along the go kart motor exhaust "flex" theory here. Any help would be great. I've included a pic so it's easier to know what i'm on about.
