I hear Ofna's Hyper Series are good for racing ( and also not to expensive). I was debating between the Hyper 7 PBS or PCR. It looks to me like the only difference is the servo positioning (lay-down -vs- up-right) Am I correct? Which is better for speed and turnability with durability? Will take any input
!!! Thanks in advance

Hyper 7 TQ Pro ARR - almost ready to run. Comes 80% built and just needs radio gear and misc operating field tools.
Has a hyper .21 8 port engine and a stocker pipe [aint bad ...]
if not that car - get the Pro C-hub version ... 22* chubs.

I was actually look in at the old version of the PBS because .28 engines aren't race legal. Same car--different engine ((^^In reply to FIREFIGHTER7^^)
I've heard the TQ is a great car but its $449. Alittle more expensive than the PCR and (the OLD) PBS (which is OK) but then when you add the cost of Radio equipment... That's way over my budget (I don't exactly have a job). Ive also heard that C-hubs' Kingpins rip out when racing. One guy I talked to said he tried every company's hubs but they all did the same, so he ordered the PBS front end conversion kit.(He'll tell me how it goes) Do your C-hubs rip out?
(^^IN reply to Tazer^^)

i have a hyper 7 pcr with the ofna picco .27. its the fastest thing i have played with. its the toughest too. i sent it 20 feet in the air off a tiny ramp and landed probably the worst way possible and only bent 2 little parts. 2 of the pivot balls on the front end. they didnt bend that bad. i swaped them out with the ones in the rear and it was fine.

The TQ is the basic version of all the hypers. What you get is a no frills but workmanlike buggy. I've had no probs with the front end as yet, but have heard of knuckles breaking. Either get a few spares or a set of CNC'd ones for a bulletproof buggy

thats cool. never hurts to offer. The tq is still a great buggy. thats a great price but you're still going to have to get everything to get it running.

The only thing I would recomend buying in the PCR is a heavy duty metal gear servo. My friend had one and hit something and the wheels jerked to the side and stripped the servo gears.

I think my truck has metal geared servos for both steering and throtle so I might just switch the throtle one with it but it might be kinda low-torque. If it is...theres always EBAY

It handles better on the rough stuff. It doesn't get tossed around as easily by little bumps. It jumps better. little things like that. its not a huge difference but it is noticeable.
