I snapped a con-rod and had a little trouble getting the sleeve out too. but whilst it ran it was a good engine, one of the best I've tried. I'm going to rebuild it but have a hyper 8 port in the bug now.

Never had a single problem with my RGs.. I have 2 of em. Lots of people run them on our smaller, tight track and beat people who run P5X, Vspec, anf RBs. On a small track, RGs are great engines.
Edited to add.... my RG smoked the Force .26 that I had in my first buggy... the Ultra MBX Comp.

i had the force 26 in my buggy= biggest peice of crap made!!!!. then i got an rg and for the money BEST engine i've had. i mean that thing ran great never overheated no tuning issues and plenty of power. they have been discontinued but look around some shops still have them in stock.

i've never had a problem with my RG, its a great little engine for small tracks. alot of times on small tracks you can actually turn faster laps with an RG than with a high-end engine due to the increased traction.

Nothing but good things to say about the RG.
I've used up two of them and they ran like a clock until worn out. 6+ gallons through each of them and they were ran HARD.
