force .26 glow plug?

Use the stock plug that came with it for break in. I think its a Ofna/Picco #6. Great plug.
Then you can go to an OS8 or mccoy 8. Both should work well.

IS the OS8 even near the McCoy 8 in heat range?
The OS plug is NOT a good option for the force engine - in fact the manual advises against short plugs like the OS8 - and names it specifically!!!!!!
Why does everyone keep trying to run OS plugs in non OS Engines?
OS plugs are designed for OS engines

Having ran THAT particular plug in THAT particular engine for 2+ gallons at a time..... I would say it worked out pretty well. I just pulled out my old Force manual(as I keep most of them) and NO where does it say NOT to use an OS plug.
This is the 2nd time I have seen you post that about OS plugs. OS plugs WILL work with all makes of engines .....plain and simple.
If you look at OS's site... it even states it will work in .12 to .21( 21 = BB)
The mccoy 8 is a medium-hot plug....the os#8 is a medium-hot plug.
I sent of an email on this subject to a few engine manufacturing companies and plug companies... if I get replies... Ill be glad to share them..

Hi guys,
Sorry to reply to an oldish post but I have been running an O.S. #8 plug in a Force .28, it runs well since I tuned it, but its too damn hot I mean I was getting temps up on 300 f.
I today got myself an O.S. A3? I think much cooler and no diff in performance about 30 f less in temp.
There seems to be a lot of conflicting responses about using certain plugs?
The ofna manual for the Jammin states you should NOT use #8 or MC-59?
Perhaps they are indeed too hot for the force engines.
I was wondering if any1 else has more ideas?
I believe Force reccomend LONG plugs is this a must for using long plugs or is there a norm?
Any more tips on this?
Nick

I've answered this 71236723 times before. If the manual says the engine needs a LONG plug DO NOT use an OS#8 because it is short. That's it.
