Hey guys, been running my hyper 8 for over a month now and want to start upgrading the stock components. What do you guys have done to your hyper 8s? Thanks.

Yea the stock tires are toast now...I spin all the way down the straight and slide in the corners. I am definately going to have to get some better tires before next outing.

the best upgrades are the bumper bearings and the high temp lay down shock towers.
Nahhh really I think the H8 is neat right out of the box, nothin needed really.

Only upgrade is the truggy convertion kit. For some odd reason, I cant drive a buggy 5 feet to the local piggly wiggly, but a truggy I can run all day long.
On the main hyper 8 thread, it shows the little mods (with pictures) that can be done, like swaping the ball ends and such.
And your for sure are going to need a set or 2 of tires, some shock oil of diffrent weights and diff fluid, also of diffrent weight. Should be good to go.
Almost sold mine for 200 bucks, but the truggy kit should be out before next year race season, anyone heard anything eles on that?

There are quite a few nifty little upgrades coming down the pipe for this buggy. Start saving your pennies now.
There's a taller rear shock tower - out now.
I imagine some center cva's will be coming ...
a New chassis pan
Id put a set of jammin big bore shocks on there
stock up on universal spares, a new center diff spur, there are new lightened outdrive cap joints coming - as well Ive found out that the Jammin lightened outdrive cap joints fit and work
Lightened diff cross pins from ofna are in use by some of the pro guys
Wheels n tires are always something to have plenty of - molded foams and some Losi Step Pin tires are really hooking the car up out here in CALI ... i like my Panther KII's a bunch as well
.... its all the little things as a sum total that make these cars fly ......
