Is the duratrax raze and the ofna ultra lx comp the same? They look like a copy, or the same. But I have only seen couple of pictures of them so I don't know. does anybody know if they are the same just from a different company and paint job?

Many buggies are made in Taiwan and China for competitive price. I guess nowadays no buggies are made in Japan or USA.
GS, Hobao, Hong Nor(HN) are famous Taiwanese buggies while Nanda is a Chinese buggy. They are competitive in quality. OFNA is the distributor of Hobao and HN in the USA. Duratrax can also buy buggies from these companies. They only need a new box cover and a few new pages in the instructions. You would often see copies in the market.
Producing an r/c buggy is a 150K USD project, it is not cheap. Why not buying exisiting kits that are already tested.[8D]
Thx
