Hi all,
I just tryed to retune my hyper 7, and when I do it from idle to full throttle the car just conks out. Also sometimes if you gradually do it to full throttle, the engines cuts out. I don't think its to lean because theres raw fuel spitting out of the exhaust, should I keep leaning it till the raw fuel stops coming out? I'm asking this because I don't want to damage my engine.
Also when I rev it up a bit and then leave the throttle trigger, the car stills revs for a second or two, then goes to idle. Also the idle revs seem to have gone up a bit, it seems to be lower before, but now I think its gone alot higher. I can tell by the sound.
Thanks

you could be rich on the bottom and lean on the top also. spitting lots of fuel out because 'cause of the rich bottom and cutting out 'cause of a lean top. check for air leaks as said above. Then i reckon see what happens when you richen the top if it makes it worse it was probably too rich if it makes it better it was lean. also with the high idle and then dropping down , it sounds like its probably rich on the bottom, if you have to lean the top to get it to run right you'll find the idle will probaqbly just get higher and higher as you lean the top, just lower the idle speed as you go so its not reving too hard, after you have the top running how it should start adjusting the bottom end til its right. If in doubt take everything back to factory settings and start again. also make sure everything is the way it should be before trying to tune an engine, exhaust seals pressure line, fuel lines, clutch springs shoes and bearings, gear mesh, etc.
