im lookin into purchasing my first 1/8 buggy and wondering what everyone else has and what is reccomended im kinda lookin at the new hyper 8 rtr i want a rtr not a kit mainly looking for blistering speed i dont race i just bash

If you want BLISTERING SPEED then you don't want a buggy, these are designed for acceleration, you want an I/C.

Matrix RTR.. the best bang for the bucks. $450 and you get FM radio, metal gear servos, and promising performance. Hyper 8 is good but you will end up spending another $200 to upgrade radio+servo. My matrix is also cutting me better time than my old K car. on top of that, its a lot eaiser to drive an doesnt flip as easy as the K-car.

yes , turmoil is good too, except you will lose on the track

why do you think they included a dx2 to make up for performance.Matrix all the way.

they included the DX2 because its one of the best brands of radios out there. the matrix and turmoil have been argued about to death already, if your gonna do all racing, get the matrix, all bashing, get the turmoil, half and half, get the turmoil, unless you wanna buy a new engine.

tell you what. the nx26 in my matrix lasted serveral gallons before i switch to .21 . that tell you something.. dont make comment without backing yourself up.. peace
