Sense the Losi 8IGHT uses all standard (Non-Metric hardware), what is best tool set to invest with? (or a good one) I've been having some trouble finding many standards sets.
Thanks...

I use Team Losi's set of standard tools and I love them. The grips give you decent grip but there pretty easy on your hands (I had some dynamite tools and they tore your hands up after building the entire kit). I got mine for $35 from the local hobby shop.

Why not pick up some Craftsman tools from SEARS. When they wear out just go back to the store and exchange them for new ones. Lifetime warranty is pretty good.

Wow, I didn't realize the Losi 8 uses standard tools. Interesting that their other products use metric.

OFNA #10814. Includes 0.05, 1/16, 5/64, 3/32. Comes with a lifetime guarantee. Probably going to set you back about 30 bucks, but at least you only pay once.

Super Dave is always right...just ask him.

.Also notice how I didn't try to make anything sound like a fact in what I said. I posted that I personally like the Losi set of tools and nothing else. As far as the losi standard screws go I'm pretty sure they always used standard... or maybe I'm just to young to remember when they used metric?

LOL. I see him basically every two weeks and he's not always right, just like I'm not always right.

You know, I figured out my mistake. I have a Sportwerks Buggy and I was thinking that all Horizon Hobby brand used metric.

. I'm not even sure if SW is built in the U.S. It might just build overseas and just distributed by horizon. Oh well they make great products anyway
.
