Default Diff oil

Hi

What type of diff oils should I use in my differentials, I have no idea what type to use for a 1/8 buggy?

Here you go. As far as weight goes, it depends on the track conditions and your driving style. I would say the most common setup is 7,000 in the center, 5,000 in front and 1,000 in the rear. Any brand will work.

Hi

Thanks for that info, I'm used to dealing with monster trucks and anything under 30,000 was a little to thin for them.

Will these also work.

I run 5k front and 3K rear on my race Savage and 3k front 5k middle and 1k rear on my buggy. 30K you might as well put a locker in.

What works good on hard surfaces? I run on parking lots and gravel, packed dirt alleys and grass so would the 5k-7k-1k work good for that or be a good medium?

Thanks.

From what I saw and read the track was real big with mostly long swiping curves so I would think they would run a heaver oil but 30K sounds high.
