How fast will a 9.5 Violator go in completely stock form? Is it faster than a Matrix, because I can get either one for $300, but I don't know which one to buy.

i would say they are about the same you can put a bigger clucth bell on either and have more top speed but if your going to race you will wont more bottum and the matrix but if your going to bash i would still say the matrix high tourg metal geared bb servos and the car is tough and the 9.5 comes with alloy geared servos at about 49oz of tourge i hope this helps.

all buggies top out at about 35mph with stock gearing....more rpm=faster

I own both, do yourself a favor and get the Trix!!! It is a far better buggy than the violator.
