hi i recently purchased a hyper8 rtr with macstar .28 and was wondering what shaft start system and backplate would work with this engine!!!

any help is much appreciated!!!!

if i were you i would just get a starter box.....

its my only nitro but it is soon to be upgraded to the pro version and then im putting a c6bb in it with 2045 pipe. i just want the shaft starter for convienience for time being. when i get the new motor i will purchase a starter box.

nvm guys i called ofna and foundout that the macstar .28 is esame as t hyper .28

i am trying to find a backplate, oneway and pull start for this engine. did you find anything? Do you have part numbers?

Why waste the time and money of the rotostart if your going tou buy a Box anyway. All the grief that comes with rotos, I believe your insane.

tou cna get a roto start for it called tiger drive system i think www.jespares.com has them. but to be honest when i had mine it started first pull evry time after i tuned it and it loosened up quite nicley so personally i wouldnt bother 1-2 pulls and she should fire when tuned correct i was going to get one my self as i had never had pullstart before but took 5 mins to get used to no i prefer either pullstart or starter box and dont like rotostarts.
