Default is the sacker a reliable buggy?

Ive owned a onroad 1/10th gas car for 2 months.... and every time i drive it, it beaks.. so i went to a hobby shop and the guy imformed me this is normal, i asked if he got sumthing better for me (a guy that just wants a car he can thrush around and not break in under 10mins). He tryed selling me a sacker pro for $750 nz. it seemed like a great car, but so did the last 1 i got. can any1 thats owned 1 please tell me if this is a strong, reliable car. i understand that all gas cars are going to break and need mantaining, and thats ok but i dont want to spend more time fixing it, than i do driving it!

Been in 1/8th off-road for a while and never ever heard of that car. Ive got a feeling its a chineese knock-off. If it is absolutely odnt get it, chineese knock-offs are veryc ommon, and look good, but generally turn out tio be hunks of jun, which absolutely no parts support. Do you have any other info on it??

if parts are of a concern I would go for a ofna/hobao/jammin just cuz they have excellent parts coverage in Australasia.

You want something cheap that won't break...mmmmmmmm Hyper 7 PBS RTR.
Since you don't race the hyper 7 is a tank.
I have it for over 2 years now and haven't broke or changed anything on it.
I still got the hyper engine that came with it and it still runs.

Try ebay for good prices or order it from www.rcmart.com, or www.rc-mushroom.com.
Since you are from NZ buying it from US won't be cheapper for shipping.
Plus from Hong Kong almost all buggies are around 15% cheaper.

Yeah, if your not racing you dont need a car like the Jammin x1-cr Ft. Its way too much to spend on a basher. Your best choices would be a Hyper 7 PBS RTr, a Hyper 8 RTR, Jammin X1-RTR, Cen MAtrix RTR. Those are all great, durable, quick 1/8th cars.

No doubt, the sacher/hot bodies lightning is an extremely durable car. It will certainly hang with or out perform any of those Ofna cars.
