RCU Forum Manager/Admin
My Feedback: (9)
I've had to go through this thread and delete about half of the posts here for a couple of reasons. The first of which was for inappropriate language. I'll remind everyone of the RCU rules on this matter:
The second reason I deleted a lot of posts is the petty bickering between a few of the members. I'm not going to mention any names because they know who they are, and they know what I am talking about. This little sniping and bickering has been going on for months now, and it stops now. This kind of childish behavior has not place here on RCU, and the administration of RCU isn't going to put up with it now. If you can't control yourselves while here on RCU then we will do it for you, and I can assure you that you will not like the results.
Hopefully this thread will get back no track now so that the original poster can get answers to his problems.

NO problems with the carb here...!
Take the all the needles from the carb off and run some white tape on the threads(4 turns will do)...this will prevend any air leaks or needles backing out while running.
I do this on all my engines...OS too!

Can you please explain what you mean by running some white tape on the threads?
Do you mean wrapping some kind of tape just on the bottom of the needles? Do you mean electrical tape? Wouldn't this prevent the needle from being screwed back in?
Thanks

yeah please explain! I am curious too. By rights, if you replace the needle o-rings regularly this technique should not be necessary I would have thought?
