Default Turmoil steering link on a mayhem?

Ok, the title pretty much asks the question. I really like the steering link on the turmoil and thought it would be a nice upgrade for my Mayhem. So, I bought one off of ebay after I did a little research and found that the front ends of the Turmoil and the Mayhem use the same part numbers. However after I installed the ackerman link yesterday it rubbed really badly on the bulkhead. So I ground away some material from the bulkhead for clearence. Now I have a horrible bump steer problem. So what I am wondering is has anyone done this modification? Are there other parts that I need to do this or should I just go back to original steering setup?[:'(] Thanks for the help!
