Default I finally got my buggy!!

Hey guys I think I got a good deal?

It's a Jammin X1-CR Pro Kit with pretty much all the upgrades to make a FTE except for the big bore shocks which I'll buy later if I don't like the stock shocks...

So pretty much a Jammin X1-CR Pro FTE without big bore shocks for $280!

Did I get a good deal?

Also which motor do you reccomend? I want to race at rat raceway if any of you know where it's at... this upcoming season. Not too expensive yet not too cheap (as in engine wise)

I'm thinking of getting the Spektrum DX3.0 for electronics...

So was this not an overall good deal?

Could someone please point me in the right direction in choosing an engine?

Thanks

Great deal! Two good moderate price engines that can hang with the big boys are the STS and Go engines. If you want more details on them they each have a dedicated thread on this forum.

It looks like you got a good deal to me.... the O.S. engine are really good, you would need to get a .21 for racing though

Hey, that deal is awsome. I bought the jammin pro aswell for about 260(roller). I put me a rare rossi black magic in it nd that buggy is awsome. As far as the shocks.....the pro shocks arent that great...so i upgraded to the big bores nd they are sweet. Oh yea how used is it? Look at the bottom of the chassis....when i got mine i was starteld...the guy sed it was hardly used but from the chassis....it had been used alot. If there is a few scratches on it your ok...if there are scars nd it is mostly gray lookin then its worn out. Motor wise...ive seen alot of guys run the rex .21 bf....there a great motor to run.... you can get them at www.amainhobbies.com. They have them for about 200 i think. Did it come w/ a pipe? If not getcha a jp-1 wich would be good w/ this motor. If not...then use what a main reccomended....
Other wise, good pick.....

I'm getting the Jp-3 Pipe and I'm thinking about getting a Novarassi Rex P5X. Is this a good engine/pipe choice? I hope it is... that's what I'm saving up money for. I can't decide between the DX2.0 or the DX3.0 for radio.

Oh and I'm also getting the big bore shocks so It's pretty much a

Jammin X1-CR Pro FTE Now!!!
