Default Help Needed?!?!?!?!?!

Hi,

Looking for some pointers, I have a fair few RC Cars, Monster Trucks, Truggy Even a Bike!! But the time has come, that I want a buggy...................

I have had a look around, I have narrowed my choice between two buggies

They are 1) GS Storm PRO or 2) Hyper 8 Pro................

I am not going to be racing so have opted for the very latest spec Nosram .28 engine.

The reason behine the .28 engine choice is that 2 of my friends have buggies, both Hyper 7 TQ Sports with Mach .28 engines, so not wanting to be far from the same capacity I have opted for the Norsam.

Price isnt a big factor hear, as yes the GS Storm PRO has a price benefit over the Hyper 8, but from what I understand the Storm is a much older design, but no less of a car?????

So what do you guys think, which is better as an overall car, bearikng on mind my friends have Hyper 7's and who wants to be be slower than anyone else!!

Thanks very much for any advice you can offer.

Thanks

Stuart

i'ld say hyper 8 just on part availability alone. And its goes well on a track if you ever decide to give it ago.

How many people have said "i'm not planning on racing...", and ended up racing anyways?

Hyper 8. Also, you may want to look into a good quality .21 if you want to be faster. Most of the higher end .21 will blow any .28 out of the watter! If you don't believe me, look in the magazines and see what engines the pros are running in Truggies. Almost all of them run a .21 and they can legally use a .28 in their races. If .28 were faster and they can use them in the Truggy class wouldn't the pros be running them?

Hi Guys,

Thanks very much for your input..I have been an ordered a Hyper 8 Pro.

Does anyone have a preference on the engines????

I was going to use a Nosram .28, but the model shop I use does have an RB-S5, anyone know which would make the car quicker??

Thanks Again

I'd go woth The RB engine. I do like LRP engines but I would probably get a .21 rather than a .28.
RB engines are very nice engines though So in this case I'd get that I suppose
