GS Racing Storm?
Hey guys, basically I'm in the market for a buggy, but I either want a kit, or a buggy thats not complete or needs some work. I like fixing and repairing things so I believe this will be the way I go. I've found a Storm GS roller in the market for $150. It says it has servo's engine everything except a radio and reciever, clutch, clutchbell and springs. The plan would be to tear the buggy completely down, clean up re-lube and fix everything to make it like new, then race it. The only thing is I haven't heard alot about this buggy. Is it a good buggy for the track? What about hop ups/spares?? If not a storm, which buggy should I be on the lookout for?
Thanks
Thanks

RE: GS Racing Storm?
The storm was quite a good buggy in its day, but it is showing its age now. I may be tempted to look for something a little newer. It all depends on what you want to use it for really. If its bashing or racing for fun the storm will be fine, but if you are a competative type I'd hold out for something a touch better. Unless of course its a CL-1 in which case I'd get it as thats pretty up-to-date.
You should however still be able to get parts for them on ebay and some LHS. They still do make incarnations of that buggy.

I just got a new gs storm evolution pro. Any buggy will be out dated within months especially now, all the companys making new models every few months . The evo is the new version of the storm, it is completly hoped up ready to race.
