I am looking at getting a new buggy soon, strictly for backyard bashing off ramps and on my backyard course. Now im looking at either a Hyper 8 or 7.
Now is it worth it to pay more for a Hyper 8 (im gonna be buying of ebay and hyper 8's are more).
Also how long does ofna keep its parts support going for older buggies?

Well if your just bashing I would go for the cheaper hyper 7 but if you think you may race then I would vote the 8. Parts for both are very wildly avaliable, in most shops so see what your local LHS stocks most hope that helps.

I have a hyper 8 pro, and all i do is backyard bash. I choose the hyper 8 because i think it just flat out looks cool, and it has some nice parts on it that would be hop ups for others. It has good ground clearance, and that was a plus for me because i like to run on rough terrain. I can't tell you if its better than a hyper 7, but if you want a top notch buggy right out of the box, the hyper 8 is a good one.

It all has to do with your pocket book. If you can afford it get the newer updated version Hyper8. I never had a Hyper 7 but do have the Hyper 8 and I know for fact it is one tough buggy. I only race but I have beaten it every way you can and it has been a very good buggy.

I used to have a Hyper 7 then I upgraded to a Hyper 8'. IMO the 8 is a much better buggy. Stronger, better ajustments and it just handles better, altough its a bit twitchy.
