Hey Brandon...Just ran my Violator last night with this new 2spd. And this thing is fast...! I bought mine in Orange City from a friend that opened a new RC store..! $85.00 plus tax. Get it...! You`ll like it if you can find a big parking lot ...If your Ofna has the .32 you`ll be running 50+ mph easy ! Good luck.

On sunday`s there is a very cool BMX track a few mile`s away from me that I will sometime`s go play around on ..but for the most part I just run my RC`s on a great paved parking lot across the street from me it`s new asphalt and at nite it`s all lite-up...nite or day it`s alot of fun.....You know how the weather is down here ! Hell my friend`s and I will run in HURRICANE`S...! I like the pavement ..

Let me know if you want a 2spd. ? I`ll give you my friend`s ph# get a good deal...alot cheaper then TH.

Well really the Violator can go about 50mph and the with the 2speed will give it a big boost and changing the gear ratio on the 2 speed will boost it too!!Then put a jp-3 with a top end engine and BAM YOU R MOVING!!But street cars.......buggies arent really made to keep up with a street car.My uncles electric car can go from 0-75 in about 1 or 2 sec.his tires even came off when it first took off it was crazy. Those kind of street cars I dont even bother to race lol.But........I dont have any vids because back before I didnt have a video camera. It depends on how much money your wanting to spend.

I just got my violator. It has the force .32 which is pretty fast bone stock. How much of a difference does the 2 spd make on the dirt? When does it hit the shift point, I mainly run BMX style tracks so the straights are not that long. I was also wondering if anyone has tried the Torsen diffs on their Violator yet. If you have let me know what you think of them.

The shift point`s can be adjusted on the 2spd tran`s...depend`s on the size of the track..and where you want 2nd gear to hit..! I adjust mine on pavement and measure off how many FT. to determine the correct shift point for a certain track...As for my opinon I like the 2spd..My Violator will do 50+...and it`s cool to hear it shift. Good luck

Uhmmm I might look into it then and your Violator can do more then 50 because you dont need a 2 speed to hit 50 it already can do that.I wonder how fast it can really go.How much of a push do u think a 2 speed gives a car?

Thanks for the info, I will probably get one and try it out. You can never have too much speed.

I am going to switch to a bump start, I have one on the way from TH. I am stationed in Japan and even though the LHS's over here are awesome some of their stuff is very expensive, such as bump starters, so I have to order them and wait.[]

You can always change the gears on a two speed also.So if your two speed isent fast enough for ya then make the 2 speed more properly geared. But I just think that would be to much speed for a buggie. If I was drag raceing then it would be a good idea.Im also looking into the center torsen diff for my car as well.

Personally i would say no, 2 speed's work great if your only gonna be running on pavement, and smooth flat dirt. Any kind of jumps, bunmps, or rough terrain will put alot fo stress on your drivetrianw ith a 2-speed, and cause it to fail preatty rapidly. stock the PBS does around 38-40, youll never get a stock PBS to run 45mph. with the 2-speed youll proably run high 40's. I personally woudl much much rather be able to run ym buggy hard off-road, then sacrifice that for a bit of extra speed.
