Diff tightness

Diff tightness
Should the front and rear diffs feel the same when rotating? When I spin the one back wheel the other spins in the other direction. When I do this to the front it the other wheel will not spin if you put any pressure on it. Hope this makes sense... I guess i just need to knw if they should feel or operate the exact same.. Thanks in advance..
