Hi, I've ordered a Sho buggy for my son whose very keen in joining me in this fun money pit of a hobby...
I did some basic research and most comments on the Sho were positive, just wondering what parts should be upgraded asap? Anything to watch for?

They are very tough. My grandson has tried everything to break his for a month now, still going strong. Get a battery pack and check all the screws. He has about 2gal thru it, and it is getting stronger.

Heard the chassis needs to be beefed up as it has 2 much flex and the front arm mounts are thin plastic, see the Rcuniverse review. The engine is good though.

Hi Su27

You might wanna check this thread out. and here are some tips for the SHO/Swift buggy
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_45..._1/key_/tm.htm

and also the RCU review

- The Stock shocks are ok but have a short lifespan, Swap them out for better ones. (I'm using Turmoil Shocks)
- The Plastic suspension pin blocks will not last long, replace with Alloy ones.
- One of the guys on here recommends shaving the pillow ball openings a bit for better steering & handling
- Heatshrink tubing on the CVD's to keep the pins in.
