If your talking about the new S3 (not the old econo), I don't think anyone has even seen it yet. The S5 is a great all around motor that has plenty of power to race. If you get the right pipe on it, it can be a real screamer. Easy to tune, RB qaulity, decent price. Threat it with respect & it will last as well.

for a new racer yes. it would be easier to get the s5 in case u want to upgrade later. has the power, but can be tamed by your remote

ya i have the s7 and love it.....only because i race at a big track....and that motor has a lot of top end ......the s5 will have more bottom
