Just curious how everyone is liking there STS .30 so far. I want one but scared because of the fact that STS has no HP or top RPM numbers to compare to the others. My one friend is about to get the Surefire .32 and my other friend has the LRP .28 but is about to get the Ofna P3 and my other friend has already broken in his XTM .457 and I don't to come in last place. Just curious if you guys have come across any of these motors yet. We don't race on a track but I still want to be up front. Thanks.

Most if not all factory specifications are only a mathematical guess and most times not very accurate this is why STS does not list any. I assure you it will have no problems out running the Sure Fire 32 and the others you mentioned. The Sure Fire has loads of bottom end but nothing on the top end like the STS 30. Now being most on this thread run 21 size engines do to the fact sanction rules will not let you run anything bigger. You more then likely will get more input on the HPI monster truck forum as this is more of a monster truck engine. You all so can go here to ask questions as they have a help forum and is the best place to buy.

The LRP and the XTM are both good engines and both made by SH. Matter of fact they are both about if not the same.

I do not have the STS 30 but do have two STS D21B one RBmods and one STS 28. I like them all very much and have well over 4 gallons on some of them. I one day would like a STS 30 but being I race they biggest thing you can run in a monster truck is a .28. Rumor has there is a new STS 28 coming out.

I will be getting the STS 30 soon, I hope. I'm getting mine from a store off ebay sts-pro.net I belive.

Yes he is cheaper then Mark at STS Micro Engines.com by 9 cents but his shipping is about a dollar more.
