I've seen that there are long glow plugs and short glow plugs but what's the difference??
I'm sorry if i seem to be high jacking the thread but it seems un reasonable to start a new one for a simple question like mine.

A short plug is a few threads shorter than a long plug. If you use a short plug in a long plug application, engine may not run good or at all. All OS plugs are short plugs. Mccoy plugs are long.

If the engine can handle long threaded plugs then try a McCoy 8 or 9. If it uses a short plug try the OS#8 or A5 or R5.

I am currently using a Mccoy mc-9 (long thread?) within my hyper 8..well thats what I got with it and have the mac28 engine..I was wondering what spare glow plugs to get too but I jsut got some more Mccoy mc-9's to be safe.

Stick with Mccoy's, they are good plugs.
