fuel problems

I have a hyper 7 and if it flips over and stays upside down for more then a couple seconds, when i flip it back over it will run for a few more seconds then stall out. i realize this is because its sucking fuel from the bottom of the tank and when its upside down it gets air in the line and when the air gets to the engine it stalls. my problem is when i go to restart it, there is a bunch of air in the fuel line. there will be a little bit of fuel then soem air then some fuel and it is liek this throughout the whole line. so i can prime it till some fuel is in the engine and it wll run for a seconds then die. it seems like i also have this samae problem when i try to restart the engine after i refil the fuel tank after it has run out of fuel. i prime it till there is fuel all the way to the engine, and as soon as i pull the starter, the fuel seems to go back down the line just leaving a lot of air right there. how can i fix these problems?

If you have longer fuel lines it stops your engine from cutting out so quickly when it's up side down.
You shouldn't have to reprime your engine after that. There should be enough fuel already in the engine/fuel line to just start it straight back up agian. It might rev high for a second or two until the fuel line ifs full again but then it's back to normal. Well that's how it is for me anyway.

Yea, it may be worn out. When ever we try to get the last little bit of life outta a motor....like my old O.S. motor w/ pull start,you have to pull it fast....cuz if u pull it slow the air has enuff time to leak by and it wont start......(if it is worn out). Jus if u can after you run the car 4 a while and it shuts off.....turn the fly wheel over and see how well it hold compresion...if u can just sit there and easily spin the motor over with your finger its done....but if u have trouble turning it over and have to use a screw driver to get to turn over then its still good. Another way is if u still have pull start you should be able to pull the pull rope and the hole car should lift off the ground then turn over...if u pull the rope and it dosent budge then, yea its worn out.

this is off topic a little bit but is the engine worn out if it turns over a few times easy but then on say the 3rd or 4th pull it picks the car up. or is the first couple of pulls just building compression?

same thing happens to me, but engine is at like 220-240. Carb temp is a little less. As soon as the fuel hits the carb you can see it shoot back towards the tank. What I do is take off the body, drop th car on the starter box and start it WOT, this usually pulls the fuel a little faster, enough to fire. Once I get that first burp I let off the throttle and she's good to go another tank. One thing I'm working on now is to remember to refuel every few laps to not have to start so much, and stay on the wheels.

i have tried starting at WOT and that is usualyl what works best. the only problem is i am using a pull start. i hate that thing so much. i want to get some other kind of starter. i am looking at the ofna torque starter. i dont really want a starter box. has anyone used this?
