Well as we all know the rc8 is gonna be hitting hobbyshops this week mine will probley be here between wed.-fri. cant wait! so who all is gonna buy one? i know most of you over sea guys have one already if you do please share some input and pics. i have been real pumped about this buggy all summer so lets hope its a good one. so this will be the place to share thoughts/setups/opinions and more.

Why was this kit released in europe before the US???

yup i remember my 1st real race rc the rc10 it was released in the U.S. 1st cause it was a U.S. company back then.

i think you must be wrong about us over seas guys having the rc8,my local model shop in the uk said they called the distributer and the rc8 will be in the shop as of 10th october

so how does it come exactly out of the box? i know its pre-built, but literally is all you do add the engine, pipe, radio system, tires, paint the body and is it ready to drive? or are there other things you need to do?

You will need to check the screws, fill the diffs, and fill the shocks too.

diffs come filled with silicone fluids 5k front 7k center and 3k rear ,shocks are 1.6 pistons with 50 weight front 40 weight rear. its got a real good race starting set up on it out of the box.

What tires come with it?

none, just wheels

What engine are you guys going to put in it? Im gettin one for my dad for his b-day.

i think im going to get an lrp .21 and swap the 3 needle carb for the 2 needle pullstart version's carb.

mz where can you get the lrp .21 from? i havent seen anything

i don't know... i have only seen it on their website. i hope i don't have to import it!!!
