Ok, long stroke means the stroke is longer then the bore size. Kinda like a diesel engine, makes alot of tourqe then HP, but you sacrifice high RPM's. Runtime should be about the same.

it's a great engine for a short tight track, the best I have got out of mine was 8 minutes 30. But that was with smooth driving on a relatively short track (not a lot of top end running, one short straight). on a wide open track you could expect a lot less runtime. on a wide track i have had it run about 7 minutes. if your a throttle masher, expect less.

I would stay away from a long stroke engine. I would prefer an engine that has a bigger bore over the stroke lenth. It seems that engines with a bigger bore over stroke lenth last longer than engines with a longer stroke over bore.

I run the long stroke version and on a big outdoor track I am getting 10 minutes a tank and indoor small track I am getting 12 minutes . I run my engine at 250 degrees and have 3.5 gallons through it so far and has near the same pinch from when I broke it in . This is my second P5 Long Stroke and the first one lasted me 8 gallons with no problems at all .

If you think the P5X is awesome, you should take a look the the Max Power M5B. It's a factory modified P5X with double the performance!

lol yeah i just look in the right places and at the right times
that rb enginge i got at 1 bit gallon old for £40 is going brilliant just thought i couldnt pass on this engine as well so ill use the rb for the winter series racing and if and when it blows or looses compression ill break in the novarossi but im deifnatly using the novarossi in summer series.
