That looks nothing like the SHO. I know, I have one. Along with a Jammin X1 CRFT and Associated RC8.

i have the sho as well and its much different but the most noticeable difference is the sho has a lay down servo...the sho is such a beater i beat that thing up so bad and it just keeps trucking along no breakage in 8 months of off and on racing..suprasales (ebay name) was/is selling the katana buggy roller for 74.99..

I have a SHO/Swift also and the Katana looks very similar to the SHO. radio box aside

Im building one now. VERY nice buggy. Id say go for it.. Its the same as a Protech Enigma and a Power racing Kantana.. Other cars are also made in the same factory. Ofna, Kyosho are just a few..

I dont have the Katana, but I must admit I do have the XR8 kit version.

It is a very good car and I bring this up because I am talking more about quality of work from PRP.
One of the bad things about the company is many parts are rare to find and do not expect the EBAY deals like you can find from other buggies, in other words 9 out of 10 you will need to buy a authorized hobby shop, not like OFNA, SPortwerks, Team losi or Kyosho where a little search on auction websites will save you enough to buy you another brand new engine.

Keep the rubber side down.

Thanks i was also concerned about parts but the LHS that sells the Katana said they are a main dealer for power racing so parts shouldnt be a problem at all they said.

Hello
I purchased one of the 74.99 Katanas from Suprasales off of ebay and one of there Rally cars. Best deal I have ever gotten on a brand new buggy roller. It is a killer beginners car! cheap, oh did I mention cheap? Dont tell me there "junk" because the quality is there Infact I would say the Katana is better than my Ofna Ravager, If your looking to try it on the cheap, 74.99 you get the roller/pipe/header/clutch/flywheel/shoes/springs/bell. No body ,eletronics, motor. You could buy 2 of these rollers for the price of the cheapest ofna kit Ultra MBX ... You do the math..... thanks for reading my thoughts on the subject..... Teamgimpy

Hey Guys,

If anyone is interested, I have CEN Matrix Rollers for sale for $169. I know it's a bit more than the RD Logics and Katana buggies you have been buying from Supra Sales on ebay, but it's a way better buggy and you get a bit more with my roller like a factory body and better tires and wheels. I can even sell you a roller with the original Airtronics MX3 radio, receiver and all the servo's still installed for $230!

If anyone is interested, let me know!
