Default Hyper 7 Pro steering help

I'm having a problem with my steering not wanting to center and wearing on the servo. I got this used with no instructions and am wondering if this steering setup is the right one?

Take out the bolt on the link between the servo and the steering arm and see if there is anything binding. If no then it's your servo.

It is a cirrus servo, there is no binding in the steering linkage. Am looking at getting a new servo but am lost, I do know that analog is fine, that I want 120 grams or better, but don't servos come rated at differnt speeds? Without getting a debate going, what is a good steering servo for a hyper 7 pro?

Also make sure nothing is in conatct with your servo saver. It looks like something has worn a groove in it

Your main problem is that the mechanical neutral it not set and worse than that the turnbuckle is built incorrectly. So start by removing the 3 steering turnbuckles (linkages) and turn them so there are equal threads on either side of the center section, then the servo saver and examine the bearings X4 in it (they may just be copper bushes if it's the PCR), replace them if they are grity and refit the servo saver.

Now the rebuild, make both the track rods the same length and refit them (that's the 2 turnbckles between the plate and wheels), now the steering input (remove the tank ad guard, remove the servo horn from the servo, turn on the radio and set all the neutrals to the mid position, now refit the servo horn perfectly vertical (or as close as possible and trim it vertical), next with the radio on connect the input turnbuckle tothe servo horn and saver. Adjust it till the horn is vertical and the saver end of the rod is exactly in line with the 2 screws in the top of the servo saver posts. That will be the steering neutral set.

The trck you can set up as you wish by adjusting the 2 track rod turnbuckles equally to get the toe that you want.

If you you see that you are geting more right deflection that left, then you will need to remove one of the front disks from the brakes because the servo horn is too long.

This entire proceedure will require $0 unless you need to replace the bearings. But I would strongly recommend geting rid of that tacky Cirrus servo and investing in a GOOD high torque unit somewhere in the region of $50 - $120.
