ofna picco 26 engine problems
alright i ordered a engine off ebay (yes stupid) anyway i got it fired up and it seems to have good compression. When i get the engine past half throttle it will turn off. Then i noticed the LSP was all the way turned in and richened it about 3 turns (about .5mm out) and still had the same issue. Its running under 200 degrees and i can't seem to see why im having problems.
O and the HSN is about a turn under flush i think 3 turns out from closed.

Here is the link because im not sure of the EXACT model.
Also will these tires fit my sportwerks turmoil???

THANKS in advanced!!!

That would be the Picco P3 .26 Monster and the problem you've got relates to the HSN being too lean and possibly a dying plug.

I agree , also there is a reason why it was only $50 .

Sounds like the HSN is really lean and by the time you get to half throttle it would be out of gas . A guy at the track had a similar problem , he would start the car and take a run down the straight away and when he got to WOT he would always die . I checked it out for him and backed out the HSN a full turn and it fixed his problem . I would richen your HSN up a lot to see if it will run past half throttle and go from there .

Ok so i richened the HSN and it didn't help. So i richened the LSP ALOT and now i can got WOT but she will just die out after. When you say change the seals do you mean o rings and what not or just to SEAL the engine in general? I think i am going to take the time and seal her up then give it another shot.

Do try sealing the motor, I has a lot of problem with a motor and once i took it part cleaned it and sealed it, it ran great afterwards.
