Hi I have recently replaced my pull starter with a torque starter. However, I am using a drill not the official starter but having no luck whatsoever in getting the engine started!! The drill has 700rpm. Does anyone know if this is fast enough?? There is definitely nothing wrong with the tubes etc. If it's not the speed of the drill can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong?
Thanks

It doesnt take much... Do you think you get more RPM's by yanking on a pull cord... NO! Drill's spin ALOT faster than the speed of yanking a pull cord. The torque start, according to what I have read, is designed to slip during a hydrolock, so check that. Also, maybe replace the battery in your glow ignitor.
