Couldn't decide which one to get....
So I said to hell with it and got both.
Now I can do a direct comparison and see which one I like best.

Horrible choices, you won't have any fun at all. Must be nice! Tell us what you think when you get those buggies on the track.

The Losi 8ight box says "designed and produced in the USA". The RC8 box doesn't say where it was made.
I'm pretty sure the AE stuff is made by Thunder Tiger in Taiwan or Korea or......
The RC8 is brand new, while the 8ight is slightly used. I got it cheap from a guy switching over to a new RC8.
Me and my son are jumping into the buggy thing. Should be lotsa fun.
I just gotta figure out where to find the $$$ to finish both of them and buy all the necessary support equipment.[sm=idea.gif]
I might have to sell off some of the monster truck stuff I have accumulated over the years.
And YES, my wife is HIGHLY pissed.
More to come.

No, I honesty do think you made a terrible decision, you've spent that cash on a whimsical....whim, wellI can tell you that the RC8 WILL let you down on your first outing and the 8ight if it doesn't like youwill never be tamed. For the wedge you've wasted on those 2 you could have got THE SEXIEST looking kit on the market, the XB8 and a fantastic motor with TOFR radio gear and still shelled out less than you would have for those 2

hes just mad that he doesn't live in America. i think he has said " use it as a door mat/stop or use it as a paper weight" at least once in every thread that has even mentions the rc8 in any way.
i hope to get an rc8 soon. hope you like yours.

I was just stuck on stupidness remarks, would be nice to get the rc8 and the XB8 together. Eights have been the buggy of choice at our track for too long.

Most people on these fourms can't wait to shoot down any other product they don't own. Did anybody happen to see the 08 worlds qualifying in the midwest? Ryan Mayfield with his RC8 had the field lapped 30 min. into the hour long A main until he had electrical problems. Then Adam Drake won with a Losi 8. So i would say they are worthy buggy's along with many others.

Situations like these are why I LOVE my country and my hobby.
I can buy what I like/want and if someone else doesn't like it, that's their problem.
My country also affords me the freedom to tell the naysayers to STFU.
I think we all know WHO this is directed at.
It's kind of ironic.
This persons name is very fitting because it seems that is all they talk on here.

The reason we have free countries is because of people like me thatare willing to put our lives on the line to fight for what we believe in, maybe when you grow up you'll understand but until then dont be a ***** and get off the haters bandwagon, your not clever enough to be flinging insults.

my 2 cents.
