Default hyper 7 any good?

I just bought a use hyper 7 pro off ebay. Are these good buggies ? i know its a little on the older side but is it still competive with the 8 and 8.5 are alot of parts still availble for it Sorry to say guy but its going to be coverted to eleitric [>:] but is this platform a good base for some racing

A hyper 7 is a good buggy it is tuff and a good racer and it still a competitive buggy.

witch 7 is it? i have the pbs and besides clutch bells and bearings, nothing ever broke on it. i modded the knuckles to turn more so the ball popped out once after missing a jump and landing on a wall.

i think its the pbs the one with the revo looking suspeion ball joints and then it has pcr upgrades are there any diffs between the pbs and pcr and what upgrade should i buy to help it pefrom better
