I've got a Hyper 7 PBS and am looking for some possible upgrades on a budget. I have the motor and electronics handled (I think). So what other upgrades are out there that are worth while? CF or CNC shock towers? CF brake discs? CF radio tray? Any links, first hand experience is much appreciated!

hey buddy. i got the TQ hyper 7 w/mac 28. but they are the same car really i think and a must is the front universal driveshafts! i didnt upgrade my brakes but i found that cleaning them with degreaser helped improve the braking performance majorly lol. but dont worry about CF radio tray.. does that make you go faster? nope .. does it help the handling? nope lol .. try a bigger carby or maybe twin airfilters like i did get more airflow. goes faster
the CNC shock towers are just for racing i think .. fr real fine suspension mounting and tuning

Thanks! I didn't think the CF stuff would improve performance any noticeable amount. Besides that if I was able to tell the difference I probly wouldn't be running a 7 any way. I was thinking of upgrading the chasis braces to some cnc ones, but after some thought if I crash bad enough to brake one the chasis is toast any ways.

yeah dude the last thing to worry about is the braces lol mine got ran over by a car and i just got a bent shock tower broken HSN smashed air filter and a shattered cooling head! these things are so tough.. i suggest you look for upgrades that will make the car run smoother. try doing alot of fine tuning to the car all around for better handling and stuff
