The VG will hav similar power. longevity is suspect as I have heard varying reports about it. Also it costs more.
If you want a similar engine at similar price look at the thunder tiger pro .21

I own a Pro .21,it seems like a good motor except I hate the allen key carb adjustment screws! I have owned a slew of RG's and had good luck wit them,just was wondering if the VG is was as good of a motor.

RG has ABC sleeve and the VG has ABL sleeve. OS is the only one using ABL and only on there low end engines. There are very few I have talked to that have gotten more then 3 gallons out of the VG either the 21 or 30. I have a race partner that has two and none of them has made more then 3 gallons with out major problems. One is on its way back to OS as it did not make 2 gallons. He just bought a JP 21. In my opinion there are a lot better engines out there in the VG price range with ABC sleeves.
