How long did it last after "repinched?"
The purpose of this thread is to collect the real experience from the end users in stead of worth it or not type of question! How long did the compression last after you repinched it? Thanks for the input.

RE: How long did it last after "repinched?"
had my novarossi p5 pinched but the conrod gave didn't really think it through as you should definitely change the conrod due to stress as you have to basically re break in the engine. so in that experience the piston got smashed by the conrod etc so was bad. But only me to blame.
Second experience was got my rb ws711 pinched when it started to loose compression and now i have another 3 gallons on it, it still has really good compression and running perfectly never any problems. i would only let a very trusted and experienced person do it though.

No use trying to keep it quiet now, its already been quoted .
How does repinching work? Who do you send it to to get it done? Ive also seen "pinching kits" on ebay for like 12 bucks that look basicaly like clamps; is that what is used?

There is a guy who provides the service on eBay. OS Rocket or something similar is the name. Never used his service, but he has plenty of good feedback.

OS rocket on ebay did mine. It was amazing, it was tighter than new and after break in the motor ran cooler. I've put about 3 gallons so far and it still runs strong. as far as the rod I have had no problems.
