ok i have had my tumoil for about two months now and i love it. but the other day i let a friend drive it and he wot it into a rock and broke the pillow ball flush with the a arm lower. i was so pissed but hey it was my fault i let him drive it. so my problem is i leave for iraq in days and my lhs moved and does not open untill the first. the only other shop is a hour drive. and my wife wont let me spend the money since i just spent $77 on clutch shoes, bell housing etc. and i also have 3/4 of a gallon of fuel left. i have tried to use tire glue, weldit, and tonight i used gorila glue so far nothing it just wont hold together. i am so pissed so now i'm off to iraq and cant do anything about it for seven months god i'm pissed.
so i'm going go let it set over night with the gorila glue. if it dont work i'll pack it up and going to make one hell of a fire with some nitro.
if anyone has a nother glue or trick i can use please let me know i am desprate.
i still love this thing. just need to make a stock pile of parts and this will never happen again.
TWO RULES FOR RCING
1. dont let your friends drive your *hit unless they hand you the cash to fix it on the spot.
2. dont mix gorila glue and tire glue it smokes and bonds instantly (with no stick) and i have one major headach now.

There is no glue out there that is going to help you. You need to get a new pillow ball. Better yet, tell your friend who crashed your car to get you some new parts while you are gone. Keep your head down and be safe in Iraq.

your going to need a new part, glue won't get the job done. also for your fuel, just squeese the container to as small as you can with the fuel still in it. this will remove the extra air. then stick it in a closet or some where it won't freeze. your fuel should be fine until you get back. why waste it? anyway good luck in iraq.

Hey old buddy,
Get the part number and give it to your friend. See if he is willing to buy the part, and possibly mail it to your military base. By the way, give'em hell over there!

cover the hole in shoo goo let it dry redrill the hole in the goo and sand the edges. This is a last resort option and doesnt always work. Stay safe and come back in 1 movable piece

Good luck man. I just came back from Afghan and took my rc10 out there but had as hell to get fuel. Is the hobby shop that you are referring to in palm desert? because i live in la Quinta ( but stationed in Germany now) and when i was on leave my brother pretty much did the same thing to my buggy and broke about $80 worth of parts. well man i have no remedies but good luck!
