Default Clutch shoes red hot

So, I just did my weekly rebuild on my RC8 last night. Of coarse, that includes checking the clutch. I checked the clutch, and everything seemed fine. No clutch shoe binding, no bad bearings. But I did come accross one strange thing. I run King Headz 7075 shoes (black), and the finish on them turned reddish! I guess my clutch is getting pretty damn hot. Is this something to worry about?

Same here! My AE clutch bell finish turns to a rainbow of colors, literally. There's a rainbow on my clutch bell.
